About the Role
MishiPay is looking for a results-driven, commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead our marketing function and fuel our next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the COO, you will own the full marketing mix - from high-impact trade show activations across the US, Europe, and the Middle East, to performance-driven Google Ads campaigns - with the ultimate goal of building a robust sales pipeline.
This is a hands-on role for a data-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment, takes full ownership of results, and measures success in pipeline contribution and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). You will manage a significant annual budget, guide a Junior Marketing Executive, and be directly accountable to our revenue targets. It's essential that you can work at pace and understand the challenges and pressure of working in a growing SME/startup environment.
About You
You will be a talented, experienced and delivery-focussed Marketeer, with at least four years of B2B marketing experience within a tech (ideally Retail, POS, SaaS etc) B2B environment, including the management of a small team. You'll have managed trade shows and events, have proven experience in Google Ads, managed marketing budgets of over $100K and your commercial acumen will clearly underpin your capability shown through your past marketing successes.
It's essential that you're flexible, committed, a natural problem solver and an incredible communicator. You'll have markedly strong written and verbal English skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Events & Trade Shows (40% of Budget)
Own MishiPay's presence at key global retail technology events end-to-end, including NRF (New York), Shoptalk, Retail Tech Show (London), EuroShop (Dsseldorf), and MRF (Dubai). This includes:
- Lead all aspects of booth planning, design briefing, and logistics coordination from ideation to teardown
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with booth suppliers, builders, AV vendors, logistics providers
- Oversee end-to-end shipping of demo equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and smooth on-site setup
- Pre-event: build and execute promotion strategy to drive qualified booth traffic and pre-booked meetings
- On-site: manage the team, oversee demos, and ensure seamless execution
- Post-event: capture, tag, and upload all leads into CRM; coordinate with sales for follow-up; ROI analysis
- Maintain a master events calendar and manage all event-related budgets with detailed tracking
2. Google Ads Management (40% of Budget)
- Take full ownership of MishiPay's paid search performance.:
- Plan, execute, and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, and Remarketing) to generate MQLs
- Define & manage campaign structure, bidding strategy, keyword management and ad copy
- Monitor daily spend, CTR, conversion rates, CPC, and CPA; identify and act on underperformance
- Conduct regular A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, and audience segments
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with the Junior Executive on landing page updates and conversion rate optimisation
- Stay current with Google Ads best practices, algorithm updates, and competitive activity
3. Experimental & New Channel Marketing (20% of Budget)
- Allocate and manage an annual budget to test and scale new marketing channels and initiatives:
- Propose, plan, and execute experiments across LinkedIn Ads, content syndication, webinars, partnerships, and ABM programmes
- Establish clear success metrics before each experiment; report results & make data-driven recommendations
- Bring fresh ideas to expand MishiPay's reach in new geographies and customer segments
4. Team Leadership & Content Direction
- Assign & prioritise tasks across content creation, website updates, case studies & social media management
- Provide clear creative and strategic briefs; review and approve all content before publication
- Coach the Junior Executive on best practices in B2B content marketing and digital execution
- Conduct regular one-on-ones and contribute to performance reviews
5. Pipeline & MQL Generation
- Act as the primary driver of sales pipeline through marketing:
- Define, track, and report on monthly MQL targets in alignment with the sales team and COO
- Ensure seamless lead handoff to sales with enriched data, context, and follow-up guidance
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand pipeline health and refine targeting
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate data in the CRM for all marketing-sourced leads
- Produce a monthly marketing performance report
What You Bring
Essential Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a B2B technology marketing role, with at least 2 years managing trade shows / events independently, ideally marketing to enterprise retail or CPG brands.
- Proven experience managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns (Google Ads certification preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen: ability to connect marketing activities directly to pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Experience managing marketing budgets of USD 100K+
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and marketing automation tools
- Excellent project management skills: ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams against tight deadlines
- Experience working in or with technology / SaaS / retail tech companies
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the retail technology ecosystem and key industry events (NRF, Shoptalk, EuroShop, etc.)
- Prior experience working in the UAE or managing campaigns across US, European, and ME markets
- Basic working knowledge of CRO and website analytics (Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, or similar)
- Arabic language skills (advantageous but not required)
