Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to support our law Firm in its overall marketing activities. The Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of our Communication Department, will report to our Communication Manager, and will be working in cooperation with the Firm's Communication and Client Development teams.

The Marketing Specialist should be a competent professional able to reflect the image, history, standards, and achievements of the Firm while increasing the Firm's visibility.

He/she will be managing, updating, and upgrading its creative marketing tools and is expected to be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics.

Responsibilities will include:

Provide input to marketing activities (content development, update, and optimization; local and international events planning and participation; etc.).

Manage the Firm's LinkedIn and other social media accounts.

Draft press releases and periodical newsletters.

Support the preparation of submissions presented to legal directories.

Liaise with local and international external publishers on inclusion of our news and information and provide them with the needed content as well as processing the related subscription forms.

Translate the ideas of the Firm's Managing Partner and Senior Partners into creative marketing activities.

Assist our Managing Partner in ad-hoc assignments e.g., organizing events for the different target audiences, preparing professional replies to clients approaching the Firm, etc.

Maintain a log of yearly marketing budget and disbursements.

As needed, support the Client Development professionals in preparing proposals to clients. Qualifications & requirements

B.Sc./BA in marketing, communications or equivalent.

Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English.

3 - 5 years of proven work experience in positions requiring good writing skills. Experience in a law firm is a plus.

Creative copywriting skills.

Excellent command of acting as administrator of social media platforms such as LinkedIn.

Solid computer skills, including MS Office and design applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.)

Sharp attention to detail.

Good multi-tasking and time management abilities.

Strong ability to follow-up and coordinate with colleagues.

Ability to sometimes work in flexible working hours and perform under pressuring deadlines.
