Job Title: Marketplace Project Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi (On-site)

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Marketplace Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a marketplace project. You will define project objectives, KPIs, scope, and deliverables; manage planning, budget, risks, execution, monitoring, and closure; and ensure successful handover to stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing cross-functional teams, and experienced in requirements scoping and change control.

ROLE SCOPE

• Project Initiation: Define project objectives, KPIs, scope, purpose, and deliverables. Develop a project charter to formalize authorization.
• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans covering tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies. Create risk, communication, and quality management plans. Manage the project budget.
• Project Execution: Coordinate people and resources to implement the plan. Monitor and manage tasks and activities. Address and mitigate risks. Ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitoring & Controlling: Establish processes for decision-making, escalation, and conflict resolution. Manage changes to scope, objectives, schedule, and costs. Track performance against the plan. Manage risks, issues, quality, and KPIs. Collect and analyze project data for informed decisions.
• Project Closure: Complete deliverables. Obtain customer/stakeholder acceptance. Close contracts and release resources. Conduct project review and document lessons learned. Hand over to client/stakeholders.
• Project Management Tools: Use digital tools for scheduling (e.g., Gantt charts), collaboration, and communication.
• Requirements Scoping Oversight: Support elicitation, categorization, prioritization, documentation, verification, validation, traceability, review, approval, baselining, and continuous monitoring of requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably on marketplace, platform, or technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle, budget management, risk management, quality management, and change control.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.
