Role Description The Mason Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for leading masonry crews and overseeing daily construction activities. This position includes planning and assigning work, supervising masonry tasks such as bricklaying, block work, plastering, and stonework, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to quality and safety standards. The Mason Foreman coordinates with site engineers and other trades, inspects work for accuracy, manages materials and tools, and assists with the operation and safe use of relevant heavy equipment. The role also involves maintaining site cleanliness, addressing issues or delays, providing on-the-job guidance to team members, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess experience with heavy equipment used in masonry and construction, along with knowledge of safe operating practices.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with site management, crew members, and other trades.
• Candidates should possess practical carpentry and general construction skills to support masonry and structural work.
• Candidates should possess maintenance skills for tools, equipment, and masonry structures to ensure durability and safety.
• Relevant experience as a Mason Foreman or senior mason on construction projects, preferably in commercial or residential building environments.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
