Role Description The Massage Specialist role at RIA SPA is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh. The Massage Specialist provides professional massage treatments tailored to client needs, including relaxation, therapeutic, and wellness-focused services. Daily responsibilities include greeting clients, conducting brief consultations to understand goals and health considerations, performing appropriate massage techniques, and recommending suitable follow-up treatments. The role also involves maintaining clean and organized treatment rooms, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols, accurately documenting sessions, and collaborating with spa colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience. The Massage Specialist is expected to uphold professional standards, respect client privacy, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in body massage techniques, including general Body Massage and Therapeutic Massage.
• Candidates should possess specialized skills in Medical Massage and Treatment-focused approaches to support client wellness and recovery.
• Candidates should possess skills in Shiatsu or similar modality-based techniques to offer a wider range of therapeutic options.
• Relevant massage therapy certification or diploma from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy, contraindications, and safe practice standards.
• Ability to conduct client consultations, listen actively, and tailor treatments to individual needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional, respectful approach to clients and colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professional ethics.
• Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or clinical massage setting is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by spa operations.
