Job Summary:
The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing professional and high-quality massage treatments to clients, helping them relieve pain, reduce stress, and enhance overall wellness. Key Responsibilities:
Massage & Client Care
- Perform a range of massage treatments as outlined in the spa menu, ensuring a personalized experience for each guest.
- Consult with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Ensure a relaxing and professional spa atmosphere, enhancing guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Accompany clients to and from treatment rooms, offering exceptional customer service.
Spa Hygiene & Facility Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Set up spa and treatment stations before each session and maintain tidiness throughout the shift.
- Sterilize massage tools and equipment after each session in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that linens and towels are cleaned, changed, and stocked as needed.
Professionalism & Compliance
- Adhere to all applicable spa standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate client records, including treatment details and preferences.
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry trends through training and professional development.
- Uphold high standards of personal grooming and professional appearance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification or diploma in massage therapy from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of various massage techniques and their therapeutic benefits.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Massage Therapist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs.
- Dexterity and physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods.
- Comfortable working with a diverse clientele.
