About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management Specialist / Master Data Analyst to manage, govern, and maintain accurate master data across SAP and MES environments, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability to support manufacturing, supply chain, finance, procurement, production, quality, and warehouse operations.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in enterprise master data processes within a manufacturing environment, with exposure to SAP master data objects, MES-related data dependencies, data governance, change control, data cleansing, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and govern SAP and MES master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, compliance, and alignment with approved business standards.
- Create, update, and validate key master data objects including materials, BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, equipment, vendors, customers, storage locations, and related operational data.
- Support SAP master data processes across relevant modules such as MM, PP, QM, WM/EWM, PM, SD, and FI/CO, ensuring proper integration with MES for production execution, traceability, quality, and reporting.
- Coordinate with business functions, IT, consultants, vendors, and system support teams to collect requirements, resolve master data issues, and support projects, enhancements, and integrations.
- Support data governance, approval workflows, change control, migration, cleansing, enrichment, synchronization, documentation, and audit requirements.
- Monitor data quality, identify gaps, duplicates, inconsistencies, and process impacts, and drive corrective actions with business data owners.
- Develop and analyze master data reports and dashboards to track data quality, completeness, accuracy, SLA compliance, request aging, operational impact, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance master data quality, reporting, automation, governance, and process efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in master data management, SAP master data, data governance, or business application support, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment with SAP and MES exposure.
- Strong knowledge of master data management, data governance, data quality controls, approval workflows, and master data lifecycle processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP master data across manufacturing and business modules such as MM, PP, QM, WM/EWM, PM, SD, and FI/CO.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and MES-related master data including material master, BOM, routing, work center, production version, batch, inspection plans, equipment, and operational data.
- Understanding of SAP-MES integration and manufacturing processes covering production planning, shopfloor execution, quality, warehouse, procurement, and maintenance.
- Experience in data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, migration support, duplicate identification, and troubleshooting master data-related business issues.
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills using Excel, SAP reports, SAP queries, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Good documentation, analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Fluent English spoken and written.
