As a Material Engineer, the role involves overseeing the selection, testing, and quality assurance of construction materials used in Building Construction projects, ensuring all materials meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and firm performance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve material submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and laboratories for material testing and approvals.
• Conduct inspections and evaluations of construction materials used on-site.
• Ensure all materials used in the project meet quality and safety requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of material approvals, test reports, and compliance documentation.
• Assist the QA/QC team in monitoring the use of approved materials throughout the construction process.
• Stay updated on new materials, technologies, and construction standards applicable in the UAE.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of experience working in Contracting or Consultancy firms
• Preferred experience in Residential / High-Rise Tower construction projects in Dubai
• Exposure to a wide range of project types: Residential, Hospitality, High-Rise Buildings, Special Projects
• Strong knowledge of civil material specifications, testing methods, and quality standards
