Description
We are looking for a Material Engineer to manage and monitor the quality of construction materials used in construction projects and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Duties And Responsibilities
Inspect and approve construction materials delivered to the site.
Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for material approvals.
Conduct and review material tests from laboratories.
Monitor proper storage and handling of materials on site.
Maintain records of material approvals and test reports.
Coordinate with site engineers and project teams on material requirements.
Ensure only approved materials are used in construction works.
Identify and report any material quality issues.
Prepare basic reports on material quality and compliance.
Qualifications And Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in construction, preferably villa or residential projects.
Knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality control.
Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Familiarity with local construction standards and safety regulations.
