Key Responsibilities

Oversee selection, testing, and quality assurance of civil construction materials.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and ISO/ASTM standards.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to optimize material usage and cost efficiency.

Manage material documentation, testing reports, and standards within the department.

Analyze test results and prepare technical reports.

Investigate new materials and technologies to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Provide technical support during design and construction stages.

Review and approve material submissions and physical samples in line with project and brand standards.

Attend meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialist stakeholders.

Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, timelines, and team coordination.

Requirements

Proven experience in both contractor and consultant environments.

Strong knowledge of civil materials and finishes including architectural, structural, faade, landscape, pools, and specialized construction systems.

Experience across residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and high-rise projects.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
