JPC - 6250 - Material Planner

Role Purpose
Ensures material supply meets production schedules and minimum stock levels to maintain smooth operations and efficient inventory flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling & PRs: Oversee material supply against schedules and create Purchase Requests (PRs) based on demand.
- Inventory Control: Analyze supply trends to maintain optimum levels and conduct accuracy checks.
- Issue Mitigation: Monitor material flow, forecast problems, and adjust schedules to resolve bottlenecks.
- Systems & Reporting: Leverage SAP to manage demand, generate process flows, and provide performance reports.
- Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders on material updates, engineering changes, and timelines.
Requirements
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce or Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years in material planning and scheduling multiple projects (3+ years regional/industry preferred).
- Technical Skills: Expert in SAP/ERP, Material Resource Planning (MRP), and Resource Management.
- Core Skills: Strong problem-solving, planning, organization, and the ability to work under pressure.
