Role- MDM Lead
Lead and manage all activities as the Service Owner of Master Data Management (MDM), ensuring alignment with business objectives. Responsible for support, design, and delivery of Master Data Management applications.
Maintain the quality, integrity, and consistency of enterprise data to support business decisions, operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Act as a key member of the broader data management group, influencing and guiding the wider data management community across the organization.
Over 15+ years of experience in MDM, particularly within the banking domain, including strategy definition and architecture design.
Strong expertise in Oracle Customer Hub, Oracle Enterprise Data Quality, and Siebel UCM (configuration, upgrade, integration, and administration) and Oracle Data Integrator.
Proficient in data cleansing, standardization, clustering, matching, de-duplication, and reference data management.
Skilled in designing Data Steward UIs, managing merge/unmerge processes, and automating suspect queue resolution.
Deep understanding of MDM functionalities such as cross-referencing, survivorship, source data history, and publish/subscribe models.
Strong knowledge of web services, scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript), and integration techniques, performance tuning, debugging
Proven ability to define and implement data quality rules, conduct root cause analysis, and lead data quality improvement initiatives.
Role specific responsibilities
Design, support, and deliver MDM applications and solutions tailored to business needs.
Provide standards, guidelines, and code reviews to ensure consistent enterprise-wide MDM practices.
Document procedures and processes and ensure alignment with organizational governance frameworks.
Provide regular status updates (weekly, monthly, yearly) to senior management and stakeholders.
Track and manage activities using tools like ServiceNow or JIRA
Operate within the framework of MDM policies, group policies, and organizational governance.
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence.
Offer guidance and solutions to team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Make decisions within the scope of the approved authorization matrix.
