Job Purpose
- Create and maintain BIM models for mechanical building services that support design and construction workflows, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Support Engineers in calculations, analysis and design works.
- Be responsible for the development of mechanical BIM model elements across built environment projects throughout the Middle East.
- Support project delivery through accurate model creation and drawing extraction whilst ensuring model quality and consistency with project BIM standards.
Qualification / Experience
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in BIM Modelling within a building services environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical building services systems and their BIM representation.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as:
- Revit (MEP specialism)
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks
- Understanding of BIM Level 2 / LOD standards.
- Proficiency in Engineering Software such as:
- Carrier HAP
- IES Virtual Environment (preferable)
- Familiarity with UAE / GCC codes and regulations related to Mechanical system design.
- Familiar with ASHRAE Design Standards and GCC Codes
GENERAL EXPECTANCY

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models for mechanical building services.
- Support in the design creation of model elements for:
- HVAC systems
- Chilled water distribution systems
- Ventilation systems
- Smoke management systems
- Generate technical drawings and schedules from models.
- Support clash detection activities through model preparation.
- Maintain model standards and project templates.
- Ensure model compliance with project BIM execution plans.
- Support the BIM team with model development tasks.
PROJECT DELIVERY
- Deliver mechanical BIM model outputs in accordance with agreed project programmes.
- Participate in model development meetings.
- Coordinate model deliverables with design teams.
- Attend technical reviews and quality checks.
- Support tender and construction documentation preparation.
- Contribute to successful project delivery through accurate model development.
