Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer with strong Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) project experience to support commissioning activities on a large-scale power plant project. The role involves hands-on site execution, coordination with EPC contractors, and ensuring safe and successful system handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and support mechanical commissioning activities for CCGT systems
- Commission gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSG, and balance of plant
- Review commissioning procedures, method statements, and test packs
- Coordinate with EPC, vendors, and site teams during pre-commissioning and commissioning
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during start-up and performance testing
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project specifications
- Support system handover and documentation completion
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 812 years of relevant experience in power plant projects
- Proven hands-on CCGT commissioning experience (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of GT, ST, HRSG, and auxiliaries
- Experience working on EPC-led projects
- Good communication and reporting skills
