Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on-site in Cairo, Egypt in a full-time capacity, developing mechanical designs for medical equipment and related systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and refining 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD tools, performing design calculations, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and healthcare industry requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate functional and customer requirements into practical mechanical solutions, supporting prototype development, and participating in design reviews. The Mechanical Design Engineer will also assist in troubleshooting design issues, optimizing existing products, and preparing documentation to support manufacturing, installation, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Technical Office and Mechanical Design.
• Practical experience in HVAC and Fire Fighting systems drawings and design.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and CAD software, including technical drawings and 3D modeling.
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, Machine Design, and Product Design.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience in medical devices, healthcare projects, or industrial equipment design is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within project timelines.
