Our client is a US based company, specializes in providing coating services through robotic systems for onshore and offshore pipelines, refineries, and various other industrial plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Create and develop new product designs and concept machines using SolidWorks, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
- 3D Modeling: Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness for manufacturing processes by using Solidworks.
- Prototyping: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes and evaluate design feasibility, functionality, and performance.
- Design Validation: Conduct design reviews and simulations to verify that designs meet performance criteria and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for design optimization and innovation, contributing to product improvements and cost reductions.
- Accuracy in technical work, documentation and follow-up
- Takes responsibility for assigned work and outcomes
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
Must have :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in advanced SOLIDWORKS with a minimum of 5 years experience in
3D modeling & 2D Modeling.
- Experience in designing new products and concept machines.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring and integration is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Nice to have :
- Understanding of manufacturability and shop-floor requirements
- Knowledge of dimensions and tolerances, ASME Y14.5 preferred
- Design verification, testing and improvements
- Basic understanding of motors, sensors and wiring concepts
Location: Abqaiq, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
Type of Employment: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: SAR 10,175/Month (Inclusive of food allowance)
