Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Detailed Engineering professional with strong expertise in Power Plant projects (Thermal / Combined Cycle / Gas-based / Solar). The role involves leading and executing detailed engineering activities for Balance of Plant (BoP) systems, ensuring design accuracy, compliance with standards, and seamless coordination with EPC teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead detailed engineering activities for power plant projects across all project phases
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as:
- P&IDs
- General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- Equipment layouts & plot plans
- Isometrics and piping layouts
- Develop Design Basis Reports (DBR) and technical specifications
- Perform equipment sizing, calculations, and datasheet preparation
- Handle detailed engineering for BoP systems, including:
- Review and approve vendor drawings and documents
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (civil, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation)
- Interface with clients, consultants, OEMs, and EPC contractors
- Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams with engineering inputs
- Participate in HAZOP / design reviews / constructability reviews
- Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project specifications
