Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Cairo, Egypt. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and reviewing product designs, preparing technical drawings using CAD software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal solutions for mechanical systems. Other duties include analyzing design specifications, improving existing products, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering processes
- Expertise in Machine Design and Product Design
- Experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of industry standards and the ability to ensure compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience in the manufacturing or energy sector is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines
