Job Summary:
The Design Engineer will be responsible to assist Design Engineer I to prepare all electrical / mechanical Design & Engineering works for all security, electrical / fire alarm/firefighting system projects.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist his Superior in preparing draft copy of Project's Engineering Document List to include all Conceptual Design, Material Submittals, Shop drawings, Single line & Block diagrams, Cause & Effect Matrix, Cable List, Label List/Proposal, T&C Manuals, O&M Manuals ,etc...
- Preparing all System & Installation Material Submittals.
- Preparing all Shop drawings, Single Line Diagrams, Block Diagrams, Label Lists, Cable List, etc..
- Preparing all types of Flow Calc., Voltage Drop Calc., etc..
- Preparing System/Installation Material Lists for all Sub-systems within SAS contractual scope
- Preparing all Shop drawings, Single Line Diagrams, Block Diagrams, Label Lists, Cable List, etc..
- Preparing all types of Flow Calc., Voltage Drop Calc., etc..
- Preparing System/installation Material Lists for all Sub-systems within SAS contractual scope
- Follow up with Cad-Pool on assigned tasks
- Timely communication Internally with other departments Pre-sales/Operations/Procurement and externally with Clients / Vendors /consultants.
- attending meetings with clients / consultants when required in coordination with supervisor.
- knowledge & experience in NFPA codes , Local regulations HaS , CD , SBC , etc..
- In addition to the responsibilities listed above, perform other related duties when requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electronic/electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
- Environment, health & Safety
- security, electrical / fire alarm/firefighting software is advantage.
- Problem Solving.
- Considerable knowledge of security, electrical / fire alarm/firefighting systems standards.
- English Language (Excellent).
