Mechanical Design Engineer

To develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment

Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical design of equipment and spare parts
2. Reverse engineering of equipment and spare parts
3. Design of layout and new equipment for CAPEX projects
4. Prepare As-built drawings
5. Preparing Bill of Materials
6. Inspection of parts received from supplier to ensure compliance with design documents
7. Supervision of execution of planned projects
8. Coordinate with maintenance and production departments and support them as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)

3-4 years of mechanical design experience in industrial environment

Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software: AutoCAD, Inventor/Solidworks

Familiar with GD&T and drawing detailing

Proficiency in English, Arabic is a plus
