Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with strong UAE experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings and supporting engineering teams in project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or relevant drafting software.
- Develop fabrication and shop drawings as per project specifications.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers and project teams for drawing requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on engineering inputs and site conditions.
- Ensure drawings comply with UAE standards and client requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing control.
- Support site teams with as-built drawings when required.
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings if needed.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D).
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication drawings, and layouts.
- Familiarity with HVAC / piping / structural interfaces (preferred).
- Understanding of UAE authority standards and project practices.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience as Mechanical Draftsman.
- Currently available in UAE and ready for face-to-face interview.
- Immediate or short notice period preferred.
