Job Description
Basic Function:
Mechanical draftsman at Euro Mechanical is required to prepare precise drawings in compliance with global standards and specific client demands. Perform drafting related to oil field piping, structural and mechanical works. Prepare the construction and project related drawings (Isometric, GA, P&ID, Plot plan) in Auto CAD.
Responsibilities:
-Preparation of construction and project related drawings like isometric, GA, P&ID, Plot
Plan, piping isometrics etc in AutoCAD.
-Preparation of as-built drawings, including taking of final and actual measurements at fabrication shop and at site.
-Preparation of consolidated Bill of Materials (BOM) from drawings and communicate it in required format to respective project engineers and project managers.
-Carry-out site surveys taking actual measurements (offshore & onshore location) including preparation of hand-sketches, whenever necessary.
-Assist supervisors, project engineers and surveyors in site surveys.
-Directly coordinates with supervisors, project engineers and surveyors for immediate resolutions of drawings issues and accepts inputs during drawing preparation.
-Maintain proper filing and storage of drawings both electronic and hardcopies
-Preparation of weld control sheets required for fabrication activities.
-Participate in drawing and design reviews.
-Prepare CNC programs for workshop-cutting machine-operated plate-cutting activities.
-Attend meetings with internal & external customers
Desired Qualification:
-Minimum 5 to 10 years of drafting experience related to oil field piping, structural and mechanical works
-High school diploma or equivalent (higher education, such as an associate's degree or vocational training, is often preferred).
-Experience in electrical, civil drafting, and 3D modelling would be an advantage.

-Familiar with working practices in Oil and Gas Industry with the highest attention to HSE.
-Understanding of piping material specifications and piping standards.
-Experience in working on quick turn around jobs like hook ups, shut downs etc.
