Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Data Center Facility Mechanical Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of critical mechanical infrastructure within a high-availability facility environment. The role will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable facility performance and continuous uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers in implementing long-term mechanical infrastructure plans
- Participate in learning initiatives to align with organizational goals
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining mechanical systems for continuous uptime
- Perform routine inspections and report anomalies to senior staff
- Provide input on cost-effective solutions during procurement and maintenance activities
- Track usage of spare parts and materials under supervision
- Collaborate with electrical, IT, and operations teams to support facility performance
- Coordinate with contractors under the guidance of senior engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 0–2 years of experience (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and facility operations
- Familiarity with mechanical codes, standards, and compliance requirements
- Fluent in English
- Ability to support the monitoring and maintenance of mechanical systems
- Ability to identify and report operational anomalies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and operations teams
