Role Description The Mechanical Engineer – High-Rise Building Project will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising mechanical systems for a high-rise development, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building services. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and updating mechanical drawings and specifications, coordinating with structural, architectural, and electrical teams, and ensuring compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and project standards. The role involves monitoring site installation work, attending coordination meetings, resolving technical issues, and supporting testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems. The Mechanical Engineer will also assist in cost estimation, material selection, and contractor evaluation, while contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in building services and high-rise projects.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and the ability to evaluate and specify mechanical equipment and systems.
• Effective use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, reviewing, and updating mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Project Management skills to plan tasks, track progress, coordinate stakeholders, and meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Research and Development (R&D) capabilities to assess new technologies, materials, and methods that improve system performance and efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or licensure is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, international standards, and safety regulations applicable to high-rise construction in Dubai.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Previous experience in large-scale or high-rise construction projects in the Middle East is preferred.
