Mechanical Engineer to join our team for a project in
Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervising mechanical works for large-scale construction projects, with strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems, as well as compliance with international standards and Saudi regulations.
- Supervise and monitor all mechanical site activities, including installation, fabrication, and assembly, ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Review shop drawings to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies, conflicts, or omissions
- Review project specifications related to mechanical systems to ensure all installations meet required standards
- Approve materials and equipment by evaluating manufacturer specifications and conducting quality control m checks
- Review project execution plans for mechanical activities, ensuring alignment with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems, to ensure compliance and identify issues
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth progress
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting safety inspections and addressing potential risks
- Prepare and maintain reports and documentation related to site progress, inspections, and corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in site engineering or construction management, including at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
