Job Description
Conduct daily inspections of all production lines across the factory.
Act as a technical reference for maintenance technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex and critical mechanical faults.
Receive completed maintenance work from technicians and formally hand over equipment to the production team after confirming safe and proper operation.
Monitor equipment performance and efficiency, and implement required improvements.
Provide expert technical advice for complex breakdowns and determine the appropriate repair methods.
Recommend performance improvement initiatives for production lines, including optimization of spare parts and materials used.
Monitor and analyze spare parts consumption rates for each machine to ensure cost-effective usage.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager to schedule preventive maintenance during planned shutdowns in line with the operating plan and equipment criticality.
Prioritize maintenance activities based on fault severity and production impact.
Perform predictive maintenance through continuous equipment monitoring to identify potential failures.
Execute preventive maintenance activities to avoid unplanned breakdowns and improve equipment reliability.
Prepare periodic and emergency maintenance reports.
Maintain daily records of equipment breakdowns in the maintenance logbook.
Prepare reports for completed maintenance work orders, including breakdown analysis and spare parts consumption.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
35 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial operations.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and maintenance techniques.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Experience with CMMS or maintenance management systems is preferred.
