Job Description

Job Purpose

The Engineer will play a critical role in designing and implementing energy solutions that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. This position requires advanced technical expertise in energy systems, project management skills, and a commitment to innovative practices. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that optimize energy consumption and reduce costs. This role also focuses on analyzing data to support Operation and further implementation at site / project.

Skilled enough to capture Consumption from BMS system preparing monthly consumption reports / mapping of field assets and devices such as PMU meters / Water Meters / FCUs / AHUs / FAHUs / Pumps / Fans etc.

Key Accountabilities

  • Apply Mechanical engineering knowledge to plant and building operations and maintenance.
  • Perform tasks independently with general guidance from the Department Manager on complex issues.
  • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to team leaders, supervisors, and technicians.
  • Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and other data to plan and maintain installations.
  • Direct and participate in job site visits for service delivery and collection.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software for engineering tasks, managing installations, maintenance, support, and documentation.
  • Inspect installations and operations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for energy projects.
  • Analyze energy data and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies for potential integration into existing systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting energy management.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops on energy efficiency practices.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for project execution.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and track their effectiveness.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis on proposed energy projects.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of grant proposals for energy-related funding.
  • Participate in industry conferences and networking events to promote organizational initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in energy and software.
  • Abide by the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policy, procedures necessary for the good conduct and safety of the workplace. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable to the compliance of Enova's HSEQ policy, operating procedures, as well as being compliant with local legislation. The Employee shall seek clarification guidance in specific cases or whenever one feels necessary.
  • Develop a proactive working relationship with all authorities and assist in establishing areas for service improvement.

Qualifications, Experiences, Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and experience in field of MEP.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC & moderate knowledge of Energy engineering or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable to manage daily operation corrective and breakdown Tasks.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Knowledge of Operation and maintenance in the field of MEP and HVAC
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Technical proficiency in HVAC systems and controls
  • Project lifecycle management expertise
