Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our EPC project team in the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical construction activities at site, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Your Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:

  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities including piping, static and rotating equipment, and structural interfaces
  • Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, codes, and HSE requirements
  • Review method statements, work procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs)
  • Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, QA/QC, and HSE departments
  • Interface with client representatives, consultants, and vendors at site
  • Monitor work progress and report daily/weekly site activities
  • Support mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
  • Identify and resolve site technical issues efficiently

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer on EPC oil & gas projects
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of piping, equipment installation, and international codes (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.). Proven experience working on live construction sites in oil & gas facilities; Familiar with HSE practices and permit-to-work systems; Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills; Willingness to work at remote project sites, if required
