Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements to identify the scope of mechanical works.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other relevant MEP works.
Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
Prepare detailed material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor cost breakdowns.
Request, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, commercial, and project teams to obtain accurate pricing and technical information.
Identify discrepancies, omissions, and potential risks in tender documents and prepare relevant clarifications and qualifications.
Develop and maintain cost databases, estimation records, and pricing benchmarks.
Assist in preparing technical and commercial tender submissions in accordance with project requirements and deadlines.
Support tender reviews, cost analysis, and post-tender clarifications.
Ensure estimates comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and company procedures.
