Esnad Contracting Company is seeking to hire an experienced Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our team in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for mechanical works, including HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and infrastructure utility systems.
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates and pricing analyses for tenders.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bidding submissions.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure accurate project data and cost estimates.
- Analyze project risks and opportunities to improve project profitability.
- Maintain and update cost databases, pricing records, and market rates.
- Monitor local and international market trends to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical estimation and tendering within contracting companies, preferably in infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tender pricing.
- Excellent knowledge of the local and international construction markets, suppliers, and pricing trends.
- Experience in reviewing mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation software.
- Professional certifications in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management are an advantage; RICS certification is preferred.
- Arabic speakers are preferred.
