Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical works on building construction projects to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable local and international standards. The role involves close coordination with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site inspections for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations
- Witness testing, commissioning, and inspection activities
- Identify non-conformances, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and QA/QC teams
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 58 years of experience, preferably within the UAE
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and international codes
- Experience in building services inspection and site supervision
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills
Preferred- Consultancy background
- Familiarity with UAE authority approvals (DM, DMT, etc.)
- Immediate availability is an advantage
