Role Description

mechanical, and electrical engineers, supported by state-of-the-art software and computer systems.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Inspector based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and supervising mechanical works on construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The role involves ensuring all mechanical installations comply with project specifications, design drawings, quality standards, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings and material submittals, conducting site inspections, preparing technical reports, coordinating with contractors and consultants, identifying and resolving non-conformities, and ensuring that safety and performance standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Saudi national (MUST)
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical inspection or supervision within the construction or consulting industry (KSA experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Familiarity with Saudi Building Codes, ASHRAE standards, and relevant mechanical regulations
  • Proven ability to review shop drawings, material submittals, and inspection requests (IRs)
  • Experience with quality control, testing, and commissioning procedures
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and inspection reporting tools
  • Good command of English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
