Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Inventory Checker to manage and monitor mechanical spare parts, tools, and equipment inventory. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock levels, proper documentation, and efficient inventory control within the mechanical department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular physical inventory checks of mechanical spare parts and equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the system
  • Verify incoming and outgoing materials against purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Identify discrepancies and report shortages or damages
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of mechanical items
  • Coordinate with procurement and maintenance teams for stock requirements
  • Prepare inventory reports and stock status updates
  • Assist in stock audits and annual inventory reviews

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D mechanical drawings
  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a mechanical or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and tools
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems (ERP preferred)
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
