About the Job

We're looking for a Mechanical MaintenanceEngineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of production equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures, diagnose root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and maintain high equipment reliability.
  • Plan, implement, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Identify, plan, and manage spare parts required for maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and optimize boiler and compressed air systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Record, analyze, and report maintenance data and department KPIs to support operational excellence.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and maintenance standards.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Experience in conducting regular equipment inspections to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Experience in planning, identifying, and managing spare parts to support maintenance activities and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Good knowledge of boilers, compressed air systems, and other plant utilities.
  • Ability to record, monitor, and analyze maintenance data and department KPIs to drive performance improvements.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and enhance equipment reliability.
  • Strong competencies in communication, problem-solving, teamwork, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and analytical thinking.

 

Working conditions

  • Working Days: 6 days per week.
  • Working Hours: Rotational shifts (8 hours per shift)
  • Location Preference: Candidates residing in 6th of October City are preferred.
