The Kraft Heinz company is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer responsible for the delivery of maintenance processes and activities. You're constantly looking for improvement activities within Kraft Heinz Egypt.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement Maintenance Kraft Heinz Management System
- Supervise maintenance technicians in charge of repairing production machines and equipment
- Inspect breakdowns and develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all problems that could affect plant operations
- Manage maintenance tools and equipment before production to ensure optimum level of safety and efficiency
- Examine Machines remaining useful life, Asset utilization and overall equipment effectiveness
- Support in the implementation of preventive maintenance program
- Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment
- Assure Value Adding Maintenance activities and ensure compliance with statutory maintenance requirements
- Spare part warehouse and inventory management
- Manage all cascaded KPIs from maintenance manager such as maintenance cost, safety and quality KPIs
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Manage, lead and motivate a multi-skilled technicians group in an empowered team-based environment, ensuring full engagement of team members, to meet company requirement regarding safety and quality.
- Ensuring the spare parts availability by purchasing all needed spare parts and maintenance consumables.
- Ensure timely completion of all corrective and preventive actions to avoid repeats of Service and Quality defects, and all audit non-conformances.
- Take responsibility for Performance Management of Team members, establishing clear objectives and continuously reviewing to ensure execution.
- Responsible for Maintenance budget adherence and providing year on year efficiencies
- Analyze maintenance performance and recommends actions to improve performance
- Contributes to Engineering Projects in assigned area to ensure that maintainability, clear scope, cost effectiveness, and safety requirements are delivered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field – preferably in FMCG
- Knowledge in preventive maintenance scheduling and breakdown problems diagnosis
- Good Knowledge about manufacturing processes and practices
- HACCP, GMP and Food Safety standards
- Leadership skills
- Microsoft Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent Command of both Spoken and written Arabic and English
