Location: 6th October, Giza, Egypt, On-site, Full Time
Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations & Equipment Reliability:
- Execute corrective maintenance activities to resolve mechanical breakdowns and equipment malfunctions.
- Inspect mechanical equipment, identify potential failures, and report technical observations.
- Monitor equipment condition and support actions that ensure reliable operation of mechanical assets.
- Escalate recurring breakdowns or abnormal equipment behavior to the Section Head.
Preventive Maintenance Support:
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs according to approved schedules.
- Execute assigned preventive maintenance tasks and ensure proper completion.
- Support maintenance planning by identifying recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
Coordination & Team Support:
- Managing and coordinating assigned projects from initiation through execution, testing, and commissioning.
- Monitoring project timelines, costs, invoices, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities with technicians and maintenance staff.
- Provide technical support and guidance to technicians during maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Ensure tools, spare parts, and equipment are available for maintenance activities.
Spare Parts & Technical Assistance:
- Identify spare parts and material requirements related to maintenance activities.
- Assist in verifying received spare parts and materials against technical specifications.
- Support procurement-related technical clarifications when required.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
- Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment policies and safe working practices.
- Ensure proper use of PPE during maintenance activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas before and after maintenance work.
- Report unsafe conditions, near misses, or incidents immediately.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare basic maintenance reports, breakdown logs, and follow-up records.
- Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance activities and equipment history.
- Communicate maintenance findings and risks clearly to the Section Head.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 23 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or - manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- High awareness of industrial safety risks and preventive measures.
- Ability to prepare basic maintenance reports, breakdown logs, and follow-up records.
