Mechanical Site Engineer
Location: Jeddah-Khobar Saudi Arabia
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical works on-site, ensuring that installation activities are completed according to project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all mechanical site activities, including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Drainage systems.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings before execution.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
- Prepare material requests and verify delivered materials.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly activities.
- Prepare inspection requests (IRs) and coordinate with the consultant for approvals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–7 years of experience in mechanical site execution for building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
- Familiarity with international standards and Saudi construction practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in hotels, hospitals, commercial buildings, or high-rise projects.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
