Job Title : Mechanical Project Engineer – MEP & Fit-Out

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to manage and coordinate mechanical works for MEP construction and fit-out projects in the UAE. The role involves project execution, site coordination, authority compliance, quality control, and timely delivery of mechanical systems in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities :

•Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical project activities from mobilization to handover

•Manage HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and related systems

•Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements

•Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams

•Ensure compliance with UAE local authority requirements 

•Track project progress and ensure adherence to approved schedules and budgets

•Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and snag rectification

•Resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and site coordination challenges

•Prepare progress reports, technical submissions, and handover documentation

•Ensure quality standards and HSE compliance are maintained on site

Support variation claims, cost control, and BOQ verification

Qualifications & Experience

•Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

•5–10 years of experience in MEP construction and fit-out projects (UAE experience required)

•Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems

•Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, and office construction & fit-out projects

•Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage)

•Familiar with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and British Standards

•Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
