As part of our growth, we are seeking a Mechanical Proposals Engineer to join our Head Office team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, specifications, and project requirements related to mechanical works.
- Prepare technical and commercial mechanical proposals in line with client requirements and company strategy.
- Develop methodologies, execution plans, and technical clarifications.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and cost-control teams to collect required inputs.
- Prepare preliminary material take-offs, BOQs, equipment schedules, and cost estimates.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and clarification sessions when required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and internal procedures.
- Support proposal tracking, risk identification, and timely submission.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in proposals or bidding roles within the construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and tendering processes.
- Good understanding of cost estimation principles and BOQ preparation.
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant engineering software/tools.
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
