Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor located in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Mechanical Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), undertaking cost analysis, and ensuring efficient cost control and planning. The role also involves preparing financial reports, working closely with project teams, and assisting in the procurement of materials and services to ensure project forecasts align with budgets and timelines.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management to ensure project budgets are adhered to effectively
  • Strong skills in BOQ preparation and management as well as accurate Cost Planning
  • Experience with Cost Reporting, providing consistent updates on project financial status
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools for cost estimation and analysis
  • Familiarity with construction and engineering standards in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a focus on on-site collaboration
