Job Description

James L. Williams Middle East (JLW) is seeking Mechanical Site Engineers to join our project teams in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
Coordinate with the engineering office for the preparation and review of shop drawings, RFIs, authority submissions, and technical submittals.
Manage material take-offs, track procurement progress, and ensure timely delivery of materials to site.
Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for design verification, inspections, and approvals.
Support QA/QC processes, oversee redline mark-ups, and ensure timely submission of as-built drawings.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and work schedules for subcontractors.
Provide technical guidance to supervisors and foremen, ensuring works are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Enforce company HSE and QMS policies to ensure safe and compliant site operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
5–8 years of relevant site experience in MEP works.
Strong technical understanding of construction drawings, site coordination, and material management.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Proactive, motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
