We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in Static Equipment with strong experience in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and Detailed Engineering phases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working on ADNOC onshore projects and a strong understanding of international codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute and support engineering activities for static equipment during FEED and Detailed Design phases.
- Perform equipment selection, sizing, and technical evaluation of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air-cooled exchangers, plate exchangers, filters, reactors, and columns.
- Prepare and review datasheets, specifications, and requisitions for static equipment.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, piping, electrical, and instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international codes (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
- Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and model reviews.
- Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams as required.
- Resolve technical queries and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in oil & gas engineering, with a focus on static equipment.
- Proven experience in FEED and Detailed Design phases.
- Mandatory experience working on ADNOC Onshore projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Air-Cooled Exchangers, Plate Exchangers, Filters, Reactors, and Columns.
- Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and other relevant standards for static equipment design and fabrication.
- Familiarity with engineering software and tools used for static equipment design and analysis.
