Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria, Egypt, for a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer. The role involves preparing shop drawings, reviewing project specifications, coordinating between different engineering disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. The engineer will prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), perform quantity surveying, and provide technical support to the construction team.

Qualifications

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in HVAC works
• High proficiency in preparing and reviewing HVAC Shop Drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Strong experience in HVAC shop drawings, coordination, and clash resolution
• Excellent hands-on experience with CAM DUCT and duct fabrication drawings
• Advanced user of AutoCAD and Revit (MEP)
• Solid technical knowledge of HVAC systems, layouts, and coordination with other disciplines
• Experience in Quantity Surveying and basic project management is highly preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficient in engineering software and reporting tools, including AutoCAD and MS Office
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Familiarity with MEP systems is a strong advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, site-oriented environment
• Proven ability to perform efficiently under tight deadlines on large-scale or mega projects
• Experience in industrial, power, or mega-scale projects is a strong plus
