Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to established schedules to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on production and auxiliary equipment during shift operations.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore equipment functionality.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, adjustment, and replacement of mechanical components.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts usage.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices, and company maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with operators, engineers, and other maintenance team members to resolve technical issues.
- Assist in machine installation, modification, and commissioning when required.
