Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of firefighting systems including sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, extinguishers, deluge systems, and gas suppression systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire detection and suppression equipment.
- Conduct functional testing of fire alarm panels and associated devices.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and other relevant safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Coordinate with safety and operations teams to ensure system readiness.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in incident investigations when required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in firefighting systems maintenance, preferably in Oil & Gas or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of fire protection codes and standards (e.g., NFPA).
- Familiarity with various fire suppression systems (e.g., foam, CO, FM-200).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
