Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Mechanical Tender Engineer to manage the full tendering process for mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals, cost estimation, and coordination with suppliers and internal teams to ensure competitive and compliant bids.
Key Responsibilities- Study tender documents, drawings, and specifications for mechanical works.
- Prepare technical submittals, BOQs, and compliance sheets.
- Perform cost estimation, pricing, and value engineering.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
- Prepare and submit complete tender packages on time.
- Clarify technical and commercial issues with clients and consultants.
- Support post-tender negotiations and contract award processes.
- Maintain tender records and cost databases.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- [35] years of experience in mechanical tendering (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of specifications, standards, and local market prices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and tendering software.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
