Job Description

1.1. Position:

MECHANICAL & WELDING INSPECTOR

1.2. Office:

Tabuk, Neom

1.3. Reporting to:

Project Manager / Director

2.1Job Qualifications

Engineering Degree/Diploma

2.2 Experience:

Minimum of 10 years in pipe, pipeline, and oil & gas structural welding.

Welding Knowledge: Proficient in basic welding methods including SMAW, GTAW, MIG, and FCAW.

NDE Knowledge: Critical understanding and experience in Nondestructive Examination techniques.

2.3 Certifications

Required: AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with API 1104 or CSWIP 3.1 (CSWIP 3.2 preferred).

Preferred: BGAS or NACE certifications.

2.4 Responsibilities

Oversee welding operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Conduct inspections and evaluations of welds and materials.

Collaborate with engineering teams to develop welding procedures and specifications.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

3.1 HSE Requirements:

Always comply with all applicable legal requirements, BV HSE Policies, procedures, and practices.

Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard-free; report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/HSE Representative.

Report any newly identified hazard to the HSE Representative and participate in devising suitable operational controls to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.

Report all incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts or conditions immediately.

Take care of your own health and safety and that of others affected by your actions.

Cooperate with others on health and safety; do not interfere with or misuse anything provided for health, safety, or welfare.
