Mechatronics Engineer

Role Description

*1. Preventive Maintenance:*

* Implement preventive maintenance plans for equipment and machinery.

* Monitor adherence to maintenance schedules and minimize unexpected breakdowns.

* Analyze breakdown data to improve maintenance plans.

*2. Corrective / Breakdown Maintenance:*

* Quickly and efficiently diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.

* Perform repair and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.

* Identify the root causes of breakdowns through *Root Cause Analysis (RCA)*.

*3. Mechanical Systems:*

* Handle mechanical systems, including *Bearings, Gearboxes, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics*.

* Read mechanical drawings and perform dismantling and assembly activities.

* Monitor the condition of consumable parts and determine replacement requirements.

*4. Electrical & Control Systems:*

* Work with industrial electrical *Control Panels*.

* Read and interpret *Electrical Schematics*.

* Work with *PLCs, Sensors, and Drives, preferably with experience in **Siemens, Omron, or Schneider* systems.

* Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical faults.

*5. Improvement & Development:*

* Suggest improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce breakdowns.

* Improve energy consumption and minimize production waste.

* Monitor and improve *Maintenance KPIs*.

*6. Reporting & Follow-up:*

* Prepare daily and weekly maintenance reports.

* Document breakdowns, root causes, and corrective actions taken.

* Monitor spare parts and identify maintenance requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Mechatronics and Electromechanics, with the ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems in industrial machinery.
• Solid background in Electrical Engineering, including power systems, motor control, sensors, and PLCs or other industrial controllers.
• Hands-on experience in Maintenance & Repair of automated production equipment, including diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Electronics, such as circuit components, wiring, and troubleshooting of control boards and instrumentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering is must.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in plastics or similar process industries.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Good communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced production setting and adhering to safety and quality standards.
