Reporting directly to the Marketing & Communication Director, you lead the media strategy and performance management for key markets of the Middle East & India subsidiary, including: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan, Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Oman, India, Turkey and Israel.
As the Media Agency Lead and performance expert, you are responsible for briefing, steering and evaluating all media agencies (brand & performance media, paid social, always-on, search, OOH), ensuring that every euro invested delivers measurable impact.
You are the regional guardian of media performance: from validating country-level media plans to monitoring ROAS, dashboards and analytics, you identify under- and over-performing markets and make data-driven recommendations to optimize the media mix.
You serve as the central coordination point between HQ, the regional marketing team, media agencies and local partners ensuring flawless campaign execution, on-time asset delivery and full budget accountability.
Job Responsibilities
Media Agency Steering & Strategy:
Advertising Strategy Development & Goal Alignment
- Brief, manage and evaluate media agencies across all channels: brand & performance, paid social, always-on, search (SEA) and OOH
- Lead monthly competitor media reviews and agency performance assessments
- Set up proactive, structured collaboration rhythms with agencies: briefing cycles, performance reviews, campaign debriefs
- Validate and challenge country-level media plans ensuring alignment with brand positioning and regional priorities
- Drive media innovation by identifying emerging platforms, formats and audience targeting opportunities in the Middle East and India
Performance Monitoring & Analytics:
- Own the regional media performance dashboard (ThePlan and equivalent tools): track ROAS, CPM, CTR, SOV, reach & frequency and all relevant KPIs
- Identify under- and over-performing markets and channels; produce actionable optimization recommendations
- Track digital, CTV and OOH trends, platform evolutions and consumer behavior shifts across the region
- Monitor ad spend allocation and flag anomalies or reallocation opportunities to the Marketing Director
- Lead post-campaign analysis and embed learnings into future planning cycles
Campaign Execution & Launch Coordination:
- Coordinate product launches and seasonal campaigns (e.g., Ramadan, Local Editions) end-to-end: from briefing to live
- Distribute HQ guidelines, campaign toolkits, assets and social media calendars to agencies and local partners
- Oversee asset development for regional activations, ensuring brand compliance and market relevance
- Lead A/B testing of ad creatives (static images, short videos, landing pages) and rapidly iterate based on CTR, CVR, and downstream conversion metrics
- Manage special executions including OOH production: sourcing, briefing, validation and deployment
- Close alignment with Marketing: Proactively sync on the marketing calendar, brand campaign timelines, and content asset plans to ensure advertising strategies are fully aligned with brand messaging, key value propositions, and visual identity. / Work closely with the Marketing Executive and Trade Marketing teams to ensure integrated 360 campaign delivery /
Budget & Financial Management:
- Actively manage, monitor and report on the media budget for the zone representing approximately 50% of the regional marketing envelope
- Track YTD and YTG spending and commitments on a monthly basis with full accuracy
- Process and reconcile invoices in close coordination with Finance and the accounting team
- Ensure all media investments are tracked, justified and optimized for maximum ROI
HQ Liaison & Partners Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary regional point of contact for HQ on media planning, asset requests and campaign rollouts
- Ensure timely and accurate localization and distribution of global campaign materials across markets
- Stay connected to regional market trends to proactively identify new media opportunities and disruptive formats
Profile
Your experience Master's degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business or equivalent 5+ years experience in media planning, digital performance or media agency management (Luxury, Retail or FMCG industries are a plus) Fluent in English. Arabic is a real plus (written & spoken) Proven expertise in performance media: paid social, search (SEA), programmatic, CTV, OOH Strong knowledge of media measurement frameworks: ROAS, brand lift, reach & frequency, attribution modeling Demonstrated experience working with media planning tools and performance dashboards (ThePlan or similar) Track record of managing and optimizing significant media budgets across multiple markets Solid understanding of the Middle East & India media landscape, consumer behavior and digital ad market trends Experience coordinating with HQ teams and distributing campaign assets & toolkits across markets Analytical mindset with strong proficiency in Excel; Power BI, Tableau or equivalent is a plus Photoshop / basic creative tool literacy is a plus for asset review and briefing Rigorous, detail-oriented and comfortable managing budgets and invoice reconciliation with Finance
