Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Coder (SCFHS Certified) at Dar As Salama Medical Hospital in Al Khobar. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records and assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments. Other responsibilities include ensuring compliance with industry standards, maintaining confidential patient information, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accuracy in medical documentation to support billing and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Coding experience with a strong understanding of industry coding practices
• Knowledge of ICD-19, CPT,Hospital Standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing medical records
• Good communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration within a healthcare environment
• SCFHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties) certification is required
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly preferred
• Proficiency in relevant medical coding software is a plus
